Talking
to the families and doctors of the deceased, we learned that they are dying of
uterine cancer and other menstrual complications. Also, the women here live a
very inhuman life, their salary is also very low. It is a far cry to use
sanitary napkins due to a lack of awareness, they do not know about it. From then
on, I started working to make them aware.
BABY DIAPER
The diaper is a
core and an absorbent item for babies as well as adults, it is used to
defecate and urinate without going to the toilet, particularly the adults’ use
when they become sick.
The main
raw materials of diapers are biodegradable fibers like cotton, bamboo, or starch,
but nowadays non-biodegradable and petrochemical-based materials are used to
produce diapers.

The number of
environmental concerns is increasing gradually, and they are also a key factor
for baby diaper users. Usually, traditional diapers do not degradable in a
landfill since they are made from non-ecofriendly products like poly which takes
more than hundreds of years to decompose.
Lots of
waste have been added to the waste each year with the help of plastic diapers
can also contaminate the groundwater.

Moreover,
different type’s chemicals like dioxins, sodium polyacrylate, volatile organic
compounds, dyes, and fragrances are the main sources of disposable diapers which
have an adverse impact on our environment as well as our health. These chemicals
may be the sources of several types of health problems including itching,
damaged immunity, hormone interferences, cancer, raspatory problems, etc.
Awareness among the consumers of diapers has been increasing due to the
negative impact of these chemicals and they are driving towards biodegradable
products. Hence, there are a few more factors that drive us to become more
aware regarding hygiene, reducing infant mortality percentage, high demand for
adult diapers, different types of initiatives are taken by the Government to use biodegradable products etc.
